Into the Sun 30" x 48" Sunset, Lake Michigan

Into the Sun is a 30" x 48" painting I created after being inspired by a Lake Michigan sunset I experienced in the Leelanau Peninsula.  It is framed in a simple golden floater frame that accentuates and illuminates the colors within the scene.

I worked on this painting in my studio from a photograph I took and prepared it for live painting at a three day music event I was accepted to paint live at.
