The beauty I saw while traveling throughout the southwest was astounding. The landscape was so different to Michigan, with vast and diverse views of canyons and mountains. Every rolling hill we drove down had a different view.
This painting, Utah Life, is one of the scenes that spoke to me the most. I love the way the clouds seem as if they are moving throughout the sky, and how its movement flows throughout the piece. The stunning green grasses and purple and yellow flowers against the red stone created a colorful scene filled with energy and life.
