Mystic Woods is a 12" x 16" oil painting capturing a the deep woods within Michigan's forests. This painting is unique for me because I rarely create oil paintings, though I would like to experiment more with this medium. With oils the colors blend and I do not have as defined shapes. With acrylic my work becomes more graphic and shapes more pronounced.
